Caring and Outreach

Caring and Outreach are designed to foster healing and the holistic health and well-being of individuals in the church and community.

Supports the pastor in providing for the care and spiritual needs of the congregation through communication, home visits to the sick and shut-in, and bereavement counseling; assists with the Baptism Ceremony and the Holy Communion.

The Bereavement Ministry strives to equip, encourage and engage members as they navigate through the journey of grieving. Whether "one in one" or in a group setting, we seek to provide access to timely and relevant support resources.

Plans and participates in missions’ experiences which shares the love of God and ministers to local and international communities. They coordinate assistance for SCBC families due to serious illnesses, and serves as liaison with recent high school graduates.

Provides an atmosphere of compassion in a faith-based environment for those who are cancer survivors, co-cancer survivors and caregivers to share.

Our mission is to promote and encourage a healthier dwelling place for the Holy Spirit to live in...body mind and soul within the presence of God. This ministry fosters an enthusiastic temple. Our ministry is grounded in the scripture: I Corinthians 6:19.

The "Single Again" Ministry is a healing ministry that provides an opportunity for prayer, fellowship, and support for those who have experienced divorce or separation. The DivorceCare curriculum is the resource for this ministry. DivorceCare takes a biblical approach to divorce, separation and related issues such as reconciliation, remarriage, forgiveness, and the effect of divorce on children and families.
